Growing up in Broad Ridge, NC Bryan Britt loved to bake, but he had no idea that would lead him to owning a bakery. After moving to Lumberton in 1984 and working 20+ years, in 2006 he decided he wanted a career change and he bought Cakes & Pastries.

Founded in 1994 and originally located at 1810 N. Pine St, in what use to be Pine St. Pharmacy, it was as you might have guessed, most known for its cakes and pastries, but customers also loved their breakfast and lunch plates. Although the restaurant grew in popularity, it also outgrew its space. So in 2013 they moved to their current, larger location.

Fast forward 10 years and the restaurant which was once located in an old pharmacy is now owned by Jason & Shelley Foil, local pharmacists and owners of Lumberton Drug.

With it's new name and look, Cakes, Pastries & More continues to serve Lumberton and Robeson County the southern-inspired, scratch made breakfast and lunch items its become known for, while expanding the bakery and growing its catering department.
